Monstera deliciosa are unique, easygoing houseplants whose dramatic leaves are adorned with dramatic hole formations, called fenestration. Monstera are vining plants and love to trail over the pot or climb along a stake or trellis, or moss pole.
Renowned for their forgiving nature and diverse light tolerance, you can keep your new Monstera almost anywhere in your home.
Care
Light: Your Monstera prefers bright to medium indirect light, but is not suited for intense, direct sun (however it can be acclimated to withstand it).
Watering: Allow soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
Humidity: Monstera is comfortable in average room humidity, but will thrive and spread its aerial roots in humid conditions.
Soil: We suggest potting your monstera in a chunky well draining soil mix. Make your own by combining our orchid mix, perlite, and pumice.
Fertilizer: Feed your monstera bi weekly in growing season. We suggest using Plant Vitamins or Kelpy Plant Food which you can find in our shop.
Care Tips: Adding a moss pole for your monstera to climb will add stability to your plant and allow it to grow more mature and larger leaves. Avoid misting the the leaves, especially the new growth, as misting will cause leaf rot.

The rubber plant (Ficus elastica) is a popular ornamental plant from the Ficus genus. In its natural habitat, it grows over 30 metres tall, however, the varieties grown indoors are a much more manageable height. For the indoor grower looking for a tree type plant species with attractive foliage which can grow from 30cm to over 2.5m tall, this is an excellent choice.
Temperature: prefers average room temperature, not to dip below 10° Celsius. Resistant to dry air, but prefers a more humid environment.
Light: bright indirect/can adjust to direct but prefers medium light
Water: Water once the soil becomes slightly dry to the touch and make sure the pot has sufficient drainage holes to allow excess water to seep through. Be careful not to overwater.
Soil: A well-draining and well-aerated potting soil is needed. 1 part peat, 1 part orchid bark and 1 part coarse sand (or perlite) is a good mix.
Toxic to dogs and cats
