At Plant Gather, community is at the root of everything we do.
Yes, we’re a plant store, but really we’re a space for people. A place to slow down, breathe a little easier, and feel the calm that only plants can bring. And just like plants thrive in good soil, we believe people thrive in strong, supportive community.
That’s why giving back isn’t an afterthought here. It’s part of who we are. We’ve donated a greenhouse to Helen’s Acres Community Farm to help grow food for families in need, rolled up our sleeves to fundraise and volunteer during harvest season, and hosted clothing drives for the Kelowna Gospel Mission every winter. Each year, we also sponsor their golf tournament to help fund the outreach programs that support so many in our city. In December, we run a food drive for the Okanagan Food Bank and close our shop for a day so our team can help pack and deliver hampers. We’ve also had the joy of supporting organizations close to our hearts, like Mamas for Mamas, Paws It Forward, and the Kelowna Women’s Shelter.
